As a QMS Coordinator, you will help keep our Quality Management System accurate, accessible, and continuously improving. This is an opportunity to combine systems administration, data coordination, regulatory support, and cross-functional collaboration in a role where organization and follow-through make a visible impact.

About the Role

The QMS Coordinator supports the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) programs, systems, and compliance activities. This newly created role will help strengthen data integrity, system effectiveness, audit readiness, and certification compliance across the business. You'll work closely with Quality & Food Safety teams while partnering across Manufacturing, Regulatory, Sales, Consumer Affairs, IT, and external certification organizations. The role offers hands-on ownership of key systems, exposure to compliance and certification programs, and opportunities to drive process improvements and reporting enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and optimize SharePoint, Intelex, and other QMS systems, databases, and digital resources. Maintain accurate documentation, coordinate approvals, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure information is current and accessible. Support third-party certification programs, including Organic, Kosher, Non-GMO Project, and Gluten-Free certifications, with an emphasis on timely renewals. Coordinate certification documentation, audit and inspection preparation, facility registrations, licenses, and other compliance activities. Collect, validate, and consolidate Quality & Food Safety KPI data, and develop accurate, clear, and timely performance reports. Improve data-management practices and identify opportunities for reporting automation, standardization, and process optimization. Support customer complaint intake, investigation workflows, document routing, and communication across internal teams. Participate in cross-functional meetings and improvement efforts, identifying gaps, escalating risks, and helping teams move actions forward.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. One to two years of experience in documentation management, quality systems, or a related technical environment. Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills. Experience with business and reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Intelex, Tableau, Smartsheet, or similar
