What You Will Do
Supervises a team of primarily entry and intermediate Technicians / Business Support employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work) . Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members . Prepares, updates and monitors performance metrics to ensure business objectives are achieved . Performs capacity planning of staff and resources to support input variations, adjusting and performing recovery plans . Participate in hiring process of new employees, transfers, promotions, salary actions and terminations . Support project management based on business needs; may be required to support other duties/functions within the company . Actively participate in initiatives for Root Cause/Corrective Actions using Quality tools and support . Actively participate in obtaining Quality and Regulatory Certifications . Review and implement technical, process and regulatory documentation changes; creates or updates procedures as required . Coordinates or provide technicians with theorical and on the job trainings, performing systematic reviews and adjustments of the plan . Design, discuss, and implement employees’ development plans . Participates in technical meeting with service requestors . Assist with new business development . Ensures continuous improvement of Technical Service processes for maximum effectiveness and efficiency, leading and coordinating with other departments as required . Schedules resources to ensure cost effectiveness and coordination of activities . Performs and assist in the management of budget, staffing and or business/operations results . Ensure employees follow the organization's policies and procedures . Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required . Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with various stakeholders, including teams and counterparts in the United States, as well as to deliver presentations, participate in meetings, and provide updates on projects and operational metrics Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills by effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading technicians, and delivering clear and impactful presentations to stakeholders Occasional travel to the U.S. may be required depending on business needs.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree in Electronic s , Mechatronic s or related e ngineering field and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience . Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a leadership or management role, including direct responsibility for managing and developing a team of direct reports. English Proficiency. Evidence of English proficiency (e.g., certifications such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent experience in professional environments) will be considered an advantage.
