About this role
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The FIA Execution Program Manager (Execution TPgM) is a critical governance and support role within the Field Integration Assembly (FIA) team. Tasked with overseeing the end-to-end (E2E) project lifecycle, this role focuses on empowering site teams to self-deliver while maintaining strict adherence to the FIA EMEA Strategy. The primary mission is to shift data center construction from a traditional stick-built process to a high-precision, manufacturing-led assembly model through the implementation of Field Assembly Plants (FAPs). This role oversees project phases (BOD, IFC, Tender, and Construction) to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency. Operating within the Nordics region (Mega Scale), the Execution Program Manager serves as a governance lead to minimize administrative burdens on site teams, ensuring they can focus exclusively on generating megawatts through standardized, repeatable solutions. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Ireland: €118000 - €120000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google .
Facilitate specialty contractor onboarding to the FIA prescriptive model while governing tender and delivery workflows against regional rates and technical specifications. Monitor on-site installation processes to ensure strict adherence to programmatic scope, cost, and schedule baselines. Review and approve Issued For Construction (IFC) models and Technical Submissions, conducting Basis of Design (BOD) deviation analyses to evaluate scope, schedule, and cost impacts. Maintain the critical components inventory list, tracking off-site manufacturing milestones to proactively mitigate factory-to-site delivery risks. Enforce a repeatability-first standard to reach 90% modular repeatability and shift 65% of labor off-site via prefabricated glue products, conveyances, and skids
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in technical program management, construction execution, or project governance within data center environments. Preferred qualifications: Expertise in OSM offside manufacturing. Familiarity with LOD 400 design standards and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for model-based execution. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to manage complex boundaries between regional site teams, design-assist vendors, and Tier 3 suppliers.
