Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in the Houston market. In this field-based service role, you will deliver consistent, high-quality customer program execution through reliable service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution. You will support customers across Institutional business segments, help ensure Ecolab Brand Standards are met, and partner with sales and service teams to deliver an enhanced customer experience and measurable customer outcomes. How You’ll Make an Impact: Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience Position Details: This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Houston, TX Work Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm + OT as needed What’s Unique About This Role: Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology Thrive in a company that values a culture of safety, including top-notch safety training and personal protective equipment Paid training where you will develop the technical and customer skills needed to succeed in the role Receive a company vehicle for business use Build expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, Ecolab products, equipment, and customer programs across Institutional business segments Work in a team-based operating model with clear role ownership and strong partnership across sales and operations Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment Position requires a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays Physical Requirements of Position : Lifting 75 lbs Pushing/pulling Standing/bending/stooping Working in confined spaces Distinguishing color (tools may be accommodated) Driving a company vehicle as required to perform job duties Ecolab is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with a disability.
Preferred Qualifications
