Title: Converting Supervisor Pay Rate : $69,500-$92,600 Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan. Category/Shift : Salaried Full-Time, 2 nd shift (1:30 pm start time) Physical Location: Saint Anthony Sheet Plant 3565 E 550 S Huntingburg, IN 47542 The Job You Will Perform: This position reports to the Superintendent at the St. Anthony Sheet Plant and is a hands-on leadership position responsible for providing direction to second shift team members and deliver results on key operational metrics. In addition, the Converting Supervisor is responsible for the following: Supervise employees in the daily production of corrugated board/converting board, to include training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production and teamwork; resolving conflicts. Lead and motivate employees by setting an example of superior behavior, attitude and performance to work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment, and a quality product. Effectively communicate operational information in both oral and written format at all levels: crew members, other supervisors, plant management, office personnel and outside customers and vendors. Actively promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality and other programs and initiatives utilized within the organization. Communicates and assists with coordinating outbound shipments and sheet stock movement between the warehouse and the main plant with the Shipping leadership team. Communication with customer service team to ensure customer requirements are met and provides insight on improvements. The Skills You Will Bring: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of one year of experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred. Two years of supervisory experience required.
