Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Engineer-Renewables (Solar PV) to join our Energy team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team. Basic / Detailed Designing of overall PV Plant Layout (kW and MW scale). Preparing all BoS equipment drawings up to MV level. Conduct DC, MV level AC, Earthing and Lightning calculations. Prepare DC grouping, cable sizing and layout. Preparation of solar PV or hybrid plant SCADA architecture at MV level. Experience in conducting due diligence for solar PV plants and individual equipment. Maintain awareness of new product technologies. Technical report writing skills. Bill of Material (BoM) preparation. OEM, EPC and O&M Request for Proposal (RfP) preparation. Review of solar PV plant equipment & EPC technical documents. Conduct shading analysis for equipment as per geography and sun path. Experience working in floating PV project is an added advantage. Knowledge of working in hybrid projects across multiple geography.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications: BE/ME Electrical Engineering in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. 10-14 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada Middle East, & ANZ region ) Software: AutoCAD, PVCase, ETAP, Google Sketchup, Microsoft Excel Additional Information At AECOM, our Freedom to Grow philosophy supports flexibility and balance to help our people thrive.
