About you and this role The Maintenance Technician is you will provide maintenance craft-specific support to plants, maintaining and repairing various types of equipment within your area of expertise. This role requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may also act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and correct equipment problems; calibrate and align equipment. Complete preventative maintenance activities; check sizing of components and parts. Specify, requisition, and install parts and equipment; coordinate maintenance spare parts. Set up, calibrate, test, measure, and repair controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical, and electronic variables. Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery; troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, documenting failure analysis. Collect equipment operation data to improve reliability; work within established Maintenance Work Processes and help resolve issues.
Qualifications
Higher education in electrical/automation or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience plus maintenance, manufacturing, or other related experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, equivalent years of experience required. Relevant experience in process operations, manufacturing, or a related field. work experience in the process industry, manufacturing industry or other similar activities Your Skills Analytical Thinking Maintenance Support Maintenance Planning reliability improvements. Prior experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or process industries will be considered an advantage.
