In other territories UPI market and distribute movies through its JV offices, as well as in select territories, licensees who are contracted to distribute on UPl's behalf as well as production operations, a leading television stations group, and world-renowned theme parks.​ Job Description Regular Weekly Duties: Attend weekly Marketing and Publicity team WIPs Creation of publicity post campaign reports Collate press links for trailer reports and opening day publicity reports, working alongside the National Publicist Collate local tour media coverage reports Collate screening reactions for global reports and pull quotes for opening day review reports, working alongside the National Publicist General Administrative assistance as required Updating Media examples database Database Management: Continually update the QLD Publicity Database Research: National and QLD Research potential partners for film specific promotions e.g.: competitor activity, media monitoring and browsing (online, event pages, genre press outlets and community pages) along with influencer reach Research major sporting, seasonal and music events with a view to potential publicity tie in with our film properties Sourcing leads by gathering market intel on media outlets/ influencers to refine pitch lists to Publicity team Merchandise Prize fulfillment, sending out merchandise and prizing to winners QLD In Seasons Sending out in-season passes to QLD partners Events / Screenings General administrative and QLD event support at screenings and premiere events Qualifications Basic Requirements Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Work, Outlook and Excel Excellent attention to detail Well organized with great prioritization skills Ability to take initiative and work independently Excellent communication and a great team player Available to assist with evening screening events Desired Characteristics Currently undertaking university study in communications or marketing-based discipline Passionate about the film industry This part-time internship requires a 9-month commitment from March 2027 to December 2027.
