We conduct airborne missions for the Australian Government across maritime surveillance and search and rescue operations. With bases strategically positioned across Australia, we operate a fully integrated in-house aviation capability which includes flight operations, maintenance organisation, training organisation and operations centre.
The Opportunity
This role is an opportunity to contribute to our Search and Rescue program by delivering outcomes that matter. Working alongside a skilled aircrew, you will support the delivery of critical aerial search capabilities, helping locate people and vessels in distress during life-saving operations. In this role, you will: Spot and identify people, vessels, or objects visually Communicate findings clearly to pilots and crew Operate and monitor mission-specific equipment Maintain detailed records during and after missions Work closely with aircrew in dynamic, high-pressure scenarios About You We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters. Essential for this role: Acceptable level of health and fitness in accordance with the pre-employment medical and Civil Aviation Safety Authority medical standards Nationally accredited Provide First Aid Qualification Able to obtain a clear National Police Check This role requires the successful applicant to have the right to work in Australia. Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
