Technical Application Consultant - PRO

Learn and apply product application, segment specified knowledge and regulatory compliance standards for Semiconductor. Make sure to be aligned with sales team to meet the sales target with proper attitude and responsibilities. To serve as the primary technical authority and trusted advisor for our solutions within the semiconductor segment. The TAC will bridge the gap between complex analytical/precision technologies and customer applications, ensuring that our instruments seamlessly integrate into fab workflows, cleanroom environments, and R&D labs to solve critical measurement, quality, and process challenges. Troubleshoots customer applications through our Service, OEM and end-user customers. Identifies and communicates process improvements, new products ideas, application aids, and other opportunities for Mettler-Toledo which may arise during communication with customers and Marketing Organizations. Provides training support for OEM and end-user customers. Initiates and assists Marketing with technical documentation. Identifies and drives change to processes to deliver customer benefit (internally and externally) Build robust, long-term technical partnerships that reduce churn and position our solutions as industry standards for yield management and quality control.

Technical Advisory and Product Advocate Ø To provide technical support that primarily related to PRO division’s products and solutions, consumables and related accessories Ø Conduct complex application feasibility studies, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (POC) testing on-site at customer fabs Ø Responsible for project coordination , sourcing of supplier/instruments, design and execution of special projects. Ø To organize, and conduct products training, seminar internally and externally. Ø Collaborate with global R&D and product management teams to communicate emerging semiconductor market trends, customer pain points, and product development needs. Service Standards and Customer Relationship Management Ø Responsible for pre-sales to understand customer's actual needs and requirement. Ø Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with key decision-makers, and QA/QC managers within target accounts. Ø Conduct Negotiation to secure a win-win agreement with customers Ø Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of equipment or services Ø Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents Ø Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements Ø Maintaining records of customer communication and sales activity in our CRM system Ø Adhere to customer's site operating procedures / rules and health / safety / environment regulations. Training support Ø Design and deliver specialized technical training programs for the internal sales team to elevate their understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and relevant product positioning Ø Coordinates training equipment logistics to assure it is available for scheduled trainings. Ø Assists with corporate trainings by conducting Service Trainings as required. Conducts webinars to demonstrate proper operation of Mettler Toledo PRO products.
