Job Description
Lead and grow the team. You manage a team of Product Operations Specialists and are accountable for the results and impact of their work – setting priorities, coaching them into owners of their own market and product portfolios, and building the bench for the next layer of ownership. Set direction for the function. You contribute to the supply chain strategy and priorities for Dmarts, own multiple key results end to end, and align on shared strategic goals with central and regional leadership. Lead the Supply Chain target setting process. Set availability, fill rate, days on hand and spoilage targets per market, negotiate them with regional leadership, and hold the business accountable to them. Own the central demand planning framework across 40+ countries and develop the standards and guardrails markets plan against Drive the regular business planning alongside commercial and supplier management teams, establish the long-term capacity plan, and track forecast accuracy to translate our growth ambition into concrete network, inventory and supplier requirements. Achieve outcomes through others. The majority of your time goes to stakeholder management – aligning senior regional supply chain, store operations and commercial leaders, resolving misalignment before it escalates, and moving markets without formal authority over them. Influence product strategy and roadmaps. You are the business voice in the central product team: preparing business cases, aggregating and challenging feature requests from markets, and protecting roadmap focus by resolving what doesn't need engineering. Own rollouts and adoption end to end – pilot design, market readiness, training and hypercare – and be accountable for how well countries actually use our products, measured on adoption depth rather than deployment count. Own the market support model. The intake, triage and escalation path your team runs on features, bugs and questions, pulling in your product counterparts only where genuinely required. Be the supply chain subject-matter expert in the central team – the person regional teams consult when a problem has no obvious owner – and define the SOPs and streamline processes that turn what works in one market into a standard for the rest. Own business reporting and impact measurement. Standard KPI reporting, ad-hoc analysis and post-launch measurement of what our products moved, delivered through your team.
Qualifications
7+ years in supply chain planning or operations, ideally in Quick Commerce, grocery retail or FMCG – fast-paced, high-volume, imperfect data. People management experience. You have led specialists or analysts, delegate real ownership rather than tasks, give direct feedback, and take accountability for your team's results as your own. Senior stakeholder management. You are comfortable with regional functional heads and market leadership, build trust quickly across cultures and time zones, and can tell a market its numbers are wrong in a way that makes the correction stick. Deep, end-to-end understanding of how a grocery/FMCG supply chain works: demand planning, replenishment, supplier management, DC operations, inventory
