Principal Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

The team owns a tier-0 distributed storage service that serves as the metadata backbone for OCI control-plane services. Our mission is to provide safe, strongly consistent, highly available, and predictable storage primitives that allow OCI services to build reliable cloud-scale control planes without directly managing database complexity. We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to drive the next generation of architecture, including scalable data-plane design, predictable read performance, cost-aware throttling, operational excellence, and resilient service evolution across OCI regions.
