About this role
Amazon Canada Retail is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and drive the Vendor Experience (VX) strategy for our growing Canadian marketplace. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product roadmap across four critical pillars—Voice of the Vendor, Vendor Tooling, Vendor Support, and Vendor Education—shaping how thousands of vendors interact with and grow on Amazon.ca. This is a unique opportunity to operate with significant strategic autonomy, influencing roadmap decisions and partnering with amazon worldwide teams to introduce new ideas, concepts, and products into the Canadian store. You will serve as the connective tissue between vendors and internal Amazon teams, translating insights into action and driving measurable improvements in vendor satisfaction. Scope of Role Voice of the Vendor: Lead surveys and feedback mechanisms to understand vendor sentiment, competitive positioning, and pain points across the vendor experience. Synthesize findings to inform strategy and product roadmap, acting as a bridge between vendors and internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Selection, Selling Partner Support) to close identified gaps. Vendor Tooling: Own the strategic direction of vendor tooling product launches by identifying the highest-value opportunities and collaborating with worldwide program and technology teams to deploy solutions. Integrate AI capabilities while maintaining sound human-in-the-loop processes to deliver automated solutions that enhance the vendor experience. Vendor Support: Drive improvements to the vendor support process by designing scalable processes, launching innovative AI-powered tools, and partnering with Selling Partner Support teams to identify and execute high-impact opportunities. Vendor Education: Advance vendor education by creating and refreshing training content, improving onboarding and learning journeys for new vendors, and delivering consistent educational opportunities through both automated solutions (e.g., self-service training modules) and human-led programs (e.g., webinars). Key Responsibilities • Define the product roadmap and work to scope, resource, and drive launches across all four pillars • Partner cross-functionally with teams across Canada, North America, and Worldwide organizations • Drive vendor satisfaction through targeted, strategic actions informed by data and vendor feedback What Makes This Role Unique • Strategic ownership: Broad scope with autonomy to shape roadmap priorities and make high-impact decisions across multiple product areas • Marketplace influence: Opportunity to work with established global marketplaces to adapt and introduce proven concepts into Canada’s vendor experience strategy • AI-forward: Build and launch next-generation AI tools and automated solutions in a rapidly evolving space Preferred Qualifications • Experience using AI tools to drive product innovation and operational efficiency • Demonstrated ability to advocate for prioritization and influence across multiple stakeholder teams • Strong strategic writing skills for leadership reporting, strategy documents, and internal/external communications
