Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential Join Amcor as a Packer and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what is important. Based on which machine you are assigned to, you will assist with line operations, including changeovers, start-ups, running, and shutdown, while prioritizing safety and compliance with specifications. Schedule 12-hour shifts Mon-Thursday (6:45-7:00) AM/PM Some mandatory Fridays based on business needs Compensation & Benefits: Value, Recognized We reward great work with: Pay: $17.64-$20.75/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premium Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one Paid time off and holidays Growth and development opportunities Job Description: Possibility Unpacked What you’ll do: Packers assist in aspects of operation of lines including changeovers, moving material , quality checks and packing product . Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. Adhere to customer specification , manufacturing specification , and standard operating procedures. Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely. This includes, but is not limited to, job verification sheets, , QA checks, roll tickets (all flags are recorded), S.O.C sheets and all others as assigned. Work with crew to minimize job change-over and down time. While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety. Keep a clean and orderly work station Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work) All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management What We Want From You: Lead the Pack Preferred qualifications: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
