Quantexa Software Developer AML Monitoring

The Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications in partnership with technology and business teams. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Database technologies, and Cloud fundamentals, along with familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development practices. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient applications while leveraging AI-powered engineering tools and coding agents to improve productivity and software quality.

Develop and maintain applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. Apply knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, collections, and transaction management. Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions. Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis. Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices. Support CI/CD and cloud-native development practices. Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and agents (e.g., Lightspeed, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI) for development, testing, debugging, and documentation. Apply Context Engineering and AI-first development practices to improve software delivery outcomes. Assess and manage risk appropriately while ensuring compliance with Citi policies and regulatory requirements.

3+ years of application development experience. Strong experience in: Core Java Spring Boot REST APIs / Microservices Multithreading & Concurrency Collections Framework Transaction Management SQL / RDBMS Cloud Fundamentals Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, and debugging. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and within global Agile teams.

Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture. Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools. Experience using Lightspeed, GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, or similar coding agents.
