Have you ever wanted to see your design work come to life across one of the world’s largest advertising canvases? At Amazon Ads’ Brand Innovation Lab, you’ll create and deliver brand-focused digital and physical experiences across Amazon.com. This role also puts working with experienced creatives to bring ambitious, first-of-their-kind ideas to life across Amazon-owned properties, devices, and external platforms. We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Brand Designer who leads with craft, strong conceptual thinking, and a passion for beautifully executed visual design. Your day-to-day work will include designing, building, and maintaining custom landing pages of the highest craft, brand experiences, banners, presentations, and other campaign assets. Other responsibilities will include contributing to larger integrated campaigns spanning commercial film, products and packaging, Prime Video, Fire TV, Alexa, Twitch, live experiences, social, and emerging AI-driven media. As part of a multidisciplinary creative team, you’ll work closely with Design Directors, Art Directors, Creative Directors, Design Technologists, Producers, Copywriters, and Strategists—developing concepts, comps, prototypes, design systems, and production-ready assets while learning new tools, techniques, and workflows along the way. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design fundamentals with curiosity and a willingness to learn. They understand how to create thoughtful visual solutions, work within and evolve design systems, and maintain a high level of craft across everything they produce. Key job responsibilities Create exceptional visual design solutions across digital, motion, print, presentation, environmental, and campaign identity systems. Develop compelling creative concepts and polished campaign executions that elevate the creative standard across the Brand Innovation Lab. Apply expert knowledge of typography, composition, color, hierarchy, visual storytelling, and brand systems to every project. Design scalable creative systems, templates, and assets that adapt seamlessly across multiple channels and campaign formats. Collaborate with Creative Directors, Design Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Design Technologists, and Producers to bring ambitious ideas to life. Produce motion graphics, light animation, compositing, and video assets in support of integrated advertising campaigns. Leverage generative AI tools for image and video creation as part of modern creative workflows while applying strong creative judgment and traditional design craft. Present work confidently to internal stakeholders and clients, articulating design rationale and creative decisions. Contribute visual concepts, prototypes, mockups, and presentation materials that help win new business opportunities. Continuously explore new tools, workflows, and technologies that improve creative quality, efficiency, and innovation. A day in the life You might… Create, build, or update web-first digital experiences and media assets across Amazon.com, including custom landing pages and banners, using tools such as Figma and Webflow. Create 360° campaign assets and design collateral across products and packaging, film, Prime Video, Fire TV, Amazon.com, Alexa, Twitch, live experiences, and social media. Partner with the Design Director to build design systems, templates, and tools that scale across dozens of deliverables and teams while maintaining a consistent visual language. Support in creating motion graphics and AI-assisted video content, while learning emerging AI and traditional production workflows. Support creative and strategy teams by developing design concepts, comps, demos, prototypes, and presentation visuals that help bring ideas to life from pitch through production.
