Senior Network Operations Engineer

Diagnosing and solving difficult content delivery and networking challenges; Working on deployment, configuration, operationalization, and maintenance of Akamai networks and products; Identifying and implementing process improvements along with an excellent troubleshooting mindset to resolve complex technical issues; Escalating internally and externally to resolve mapping issues, monitor quality of Akamai mapping network; Developing alerts and dashboards that enable monitoring of network/mapping issues; Collaborating on traffic optimization and network design; Providing technical and product support for customer issues and handling the SME role during internal technical incidents; Developing and maintaining tools, documentation, and procedures to support the operation of a large scale network infrastructure.
