Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. LabCorp is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join our team in Austin, TX (73069) Work Schedule:  This is a casual / PRN position. Hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 7:00pm; Saturday hours may be requested as needed.

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to various clinic sites Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric - geriatric) Current or prior LabCorp experience Additional Job Standards: Will cover sites in the Greater Austin area (50 + miles) Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume work environments Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Be 21 years of age or older Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision As a PRN Phlebotomist , you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience.  You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations.  This unique role will allow you to develop your skills and set you up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization.  If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!  Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement *QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
