POSITION SUMMARY Engineering Facilities Coordinator | Residences Responsible for driving the reduction of utilities throughout the hotel by implementing policies and ensuring adherence to The Ritz-Carlton policies. Monitor energy consumption, perform trend analysis and develop strategic plan with the assistance of the Director of Engineering, Chief Engineer, Supervisor and 3rd party consultants. Provide gateman/doorman, bellman and valet services to Residences owners & guests which includes greeting, opening doors/gates, escorting guests/vendors, parking/retrieval of vehicles, providing information, monitoring & reporting and generally assisting as needed to safeguard privacy, property and maintain clearance & cleanliness of related passageways, walkways, work areas and designated areas inclusive of the Residences Towers and The Deckhouses. Coordinate and monitor outside vendors to resolve large-scale engineering problems (e.g., A/C,MEP, Construction/renovation, internet, telephone problems). Receive and distribute work orders for maintenance service, maintain the records and files to provide ready access to purchasing information and status of same. Scheduling Preventative maintenance and coordination with owners, generate maintenance and utility reports for Residence owners. Incident filing and reporting to management. Create purchase orders and Process invoices for payment with assistance of the Residence Finance team. Must be familiar with engineering terminology in order to process orders and request service. The ideal candidate will have: • A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or in project management required • A Diploma required in engineering, project management or related field • Ability to complete energy technician certification classes • Proficiency in computer based software systems, included but not limited to Excel, Windows, PowerPoint, BMS and billing application • Ability to operate standard office equipment • Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness, safety standards and highly organizational skills is essential. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Knowledge of energy conservation, previous experience in a similar role • Ability to communicate with hotel guests, suppliers, general contractors employees to their understanding
