Finance Director – JLL What this job involves: As Finance Director, you'll serve as the strategic financial leader, reporting to the Senior Finance Director and partnering directly with senior business leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. This role requires someone who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights while building and leading a high-performing FP&A team through periods of growth and transformation. You'll act as the key financial advisor to Business Unit Executives and Product Line owners, enabling faster, data-driven decisions that contribute directly to JLL's business objectives. What your day-to-day will look like: Serve as the key financial and accounting liaison for Business Unit Executives, Product Line owners, and Corporate, acting as advisor and strategic partner for all financial, operational, and client matters. Own all financial processes within your span of control, including monthly and quarterly financial variance reports, annual planning, and monthly reforecasting. Translate complex financial performance into clear, executive-ready analysis and dashboards for the CAO, CFO, and Corporate stakeholders. Drive process improvements and system implementations to enhance financial planning capabilities and adapt to evolving business needs. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the organization's financial assets, including designing, implementing, and documenting policies and procedures. Manage the monthly financial reporting package and provide proactive decision-making support to all stakeholders. Lead overall FP&A team management and staff development, executing succession and growth plans for your team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in FP&A roles, including forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering. 5 years of direct management/supervisory experience, including training and evaluation of staff. Strong accounting skills and demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Exceptional ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial audiences and influence decision-making at executive levels. Understanding of and commitment to client service.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA and/or MBA. Audit and internal controls background. Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams through organizational change, system implementations, or business transformations. Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications; experience with JD Edwards platforms a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills. Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties. Desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
