GenAI Sales Specialist, EU North Data and Generative AI Specialist Team

The GenAI Sales Specialist will be a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and creative direction for this fast-paced and evolving technology working with strategic customers in the Benelux region. You will build and maintain broad relationships in the account, develop and manage opportunities, and lead a large virtual team of extended resources. You will define an exec relationship strategy within the account, including building a strong working relationship with the AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, executive business reviews, and shaping go-to-market opportunities. Key job responsibilities • Lead the AWS AI Business for your assigned verticals and sub-industries in the Benelux region. • Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing domain specific Sales strategies within your assigned sub-verticals, leveraging AWS Sales and our partner ecosystem. • Build Trust with Executives, Data Scientistes, Developers, Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with your soft skills and technical expertise, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems. • Develop and deliver compelling ROI and business cases to drive adoption of AWS Gen AI solutions. • Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your domain. • Create & articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers. • Build and innovate: Co-Develop GTM motions on new product launches and work with product teams on the creation of innovative new services. • Partner with system integrators, Developers to deliver on customer projects. • Spearhead market expansion by pinpointing new customer segments and Gen AI use cases • Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously strengthen AWS's Gen AI value proposition • Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience Drive sales efforts spanning multiple lines of business with decision-making authority and budget ownership. A day in the life As a GenAI Specialist Seller, you'll lead technical discovery to map customer challenges to the right GenAI architectures—foundation models, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic patterns. You'll partner with solutions architects to scope and orchestrate proofs of concept on services like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, guiding customers through model selection, prompt engineering, and evaluation. You'll address inference cost, latency, security, and responsible-AI considerations, and translate technical validation into production adoption plans. Expect to run architecture deep-dives, advise on data readiness and integration, engage technical decision-makers, and share field insights that shape our GenAI go-to-market strategy.
