Start your Voyage – Apply Now Profile Summary: The Principal Software Engineering Director is a technical expert and strategic leader who sets the direction for architectural decisions, engineering standards, and platform evolution. This role drives complex, high-impact initiatives and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready systems that align with enterprise goals. Profile Description: Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade systems and/or multiple platforms. Drive technical strategy, best practices and innovation across teams, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability. Act as a key decision-maker in technology evaluations, design patterns, and engineering practices. Partner with product, infrastructure, security, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with strategic goals. Mentor senior and lead engineers, cultivating a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. Solve complex technical challenges involving large-scale data, distributed systems, and cross-domain integrations. Champion automation, cloud-native development, and observability at the enterprise level. Effectively represent engineering in executive-level planning and cross-team initiatives. Knowledge & Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity. Deep expertise in modern application architecture, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and enterprise systems integration. Track record of leading complex technical projects with cross-functional impact. Extensive experience in mentoring senior and lead engineers. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed.
