About this role

At Amazon, we are committed to being Earth's Best Employer and the Most Customer-Centric Company. To achieve this, we need exceptionally talented and empathetic leaders who are passionate about making every day better for all employees (Builders), and you would play a key role in that journey! Our HR Partners care deeply about the Builder experience. They proactively listen to Builder sentiment, advocate for their needs, and serve as a critical connector between Builders, managers, and HR Business Partners (HRBPs). This is a fully on-site role embedded directly in the Data Centers you support, where you will build relationships on the ground and travel weekly across your assigned cluster to stay connected with Builders at every site. Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with Data Center Operations leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies across talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations throughout your cluster of Data Centers - Leverage Builder listening mechanisms to proactively monitor and analyze sentiment trends, providing regular updates and recommended actions to site leadership and HRBPs - Actively engage with Builders through weekly Gemba Go See walks and serve as the first point of escalation for Builder concerns, fostering an environment of inclusion - Partner with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization to develop proactive strategies focused on the Builder experience, while collaborating with Employee Relations and Labor Relations on engagement actions - Consult, coach, and develop site leadership through decision-making with empathy and sound judgment, navigating ambiguous situations with HR expertise - Own and deliver site-specific people projects, conduct workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations, and promote adoption of technology and self-service tools About the team Diverse Experiences Amazon values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying. Why AWS Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating — that’s why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses. Work/Life Balance We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud. Inclusive Team Culture Here at AWS, it’s in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empower us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness. Mentorship and Career Growth We’re continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth’s Best Employer. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.
