We are seeking a motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing welding, fabrication, and assembly activities related to the production of custom machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints, work with a variety of metals, operate fabrication equipment, and consistently produce high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •    Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel and/or aluminum components •    Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and custom machinery according to blueprints and specifications •    Layout, measure, and align parts prior to welding using squares, calipers, and other measuring tools •    Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions •    Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, cutting torches, drill presses, and saws  •    Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and conformance to specifications; perform rework as needed •    Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition •    Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe material handling practices •    Assist with equipment assembly, testing, and other production tasks as needed •    Setup and adjust welding equipment according to material type and thickness •    Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards •    Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner •    Perform general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as workload requires   Job Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS •    High school diploma/GED OR equivalent experience •    Demonstrated experience in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding  •    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings •    Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and tools •    Ability to perform basic measurements and layout using tools such as tape measures and calipers •    Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills •    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship •    Ability to lift and manipulate large fabricated components using cranes, hoists, or other material handling equipment •    Uncompromising attitude toward safety, quality, and customer service •    Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools •    Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed  PREFERRED SKILLS •    Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) •     Familiarity with electrical components and wiring •    Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or overhead hoists •     Experience working with custom machinery or industrial equipment •     Previous
