Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Quality Technician (Shipping & Calibration) - 4X10 Daylight to join our team in Middlesex, NC! This is a daylight role that will work 4 10-hour shifts from 6 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. The hourly rate for this position is $21.89 per hour. What you’ll do: The Quality Tech (Shipping & Calibration) will execute calibration for the site and complete quality processes for both incoming and outgoing shipments. They will complete paperwork for the quality processes at the site and make sure items are completed on time and within spec. They report into the Quality Front Line Leader.
Primary Responsibilities
Quality Lab Maintain inspection and testing records in company databases Inspect incoming supplier parts and certifications Perform Dock inspections Manage and update Gagetrak Perform in house calibrations Coordinate outside calibrations Assemble parts for Periodic Testing Report on customer and supplier returns Complete debit and credit memos Scan and save operations documents Update various levels of site personnel on quality lab statuses (e.g. stamps, calibrations) Creates test packets in Enovia Reports on incoming test findings in Wisper Preform operator packing stamp audits Shipping Inspect outgoing shipments (components, hose and other raw material) according to the specifications, quality procedures, and purchase orders. Verify identity and count of items. Process packing slips, invoice packaging, load/unload freight and handle freight claims. Preform incoming inspections and testing per Wisper requirements. Overall Accurately complete computer transactions as necessary (labor & scrap transactions, inventory disbursements & cycle counts, expense items, document and report inspections findings & results, etc.). Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment through effective housekeeping, 5S and TPM practices Follow all plant, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Support plant lean, safety, quality and continuous improvement efforts. Model the Eaton ethical conduct policy, the Eaton Values and Philosophy, and comply with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft office including word, excel, and email • Minimum of 2 years of experience using measurement and hand tools (e.g. wrenches, calipers, gauges) • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
