Job Summary
The Sales Specialist, Construction Sales, with minimal supervision, researches and analyzes the market territory; develops strategies; cultivates sales leads; and persuades prospects to purchase WM services in order to achieve targeted revenue goals. The Sales Specialist, Construction Sales position requires expert management of a highly qualified set of prospects and to support the Builders Direct program. This is a work from home position however the person must reside in the greater Phoenix, AZ area based on business need. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions. Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales activity goals built up of 50 dials per day, 1 new account per day and meeting set targets as determined with a close ratio of between 55 & 75%. Executes sales campaigns via outbound telephone marketing to consistently meet or exceed aggressive weekly and monthly sales activity goals. Manage a customer base including taking care of all aspects of the customer needs. Attract, generate, manage and record leads from outbound telephone marketing. Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Exhibit proficient knowledge and use of personal computer. Exhibit proficient use of computer software applications. Propose customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations. Effectively use Waste Management sales productivity software tools (i.e. Prospect and Customer Database, Proposal Program, Pricing Tools, etc.) Other duties as required. III.

High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of sales experience (in addition to education requirement). IV.
