Director, Solution Strategy & Delivery (Individual Dental) Position Summary The Director of Solution Strategy & Delivery is the senior business technology leader responsible for shaping and executing the technology strategy that supports Individual Dental growth, operational excellence, and customer experience. This role partners across business and technology teams to define platform strategies, develop multi-year capability roadmaps, prioritize investments, and deliver technology solutions that enhance sales effectiveness, broker engagement, operational efficiency, and scalability. The Director translates business objectives into actionable technology plans, ensuring alignment across product, operations, finance, compliance, sales, and IT teams while driving measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Technology Vision: Define and execute the technology vision, operating model, and multi-year roadmap for Individual Dental platforms and capabilities. Align technology investments with business priorities, revenue objectives, customer experience goals, and operational efficiencies. Lead roadmap planning, prioritization, and investment decisions to maximize business value and long-term scalability. Partner with executive leadership to drive business transformation and technology-enabled growth initiatives. Solution Delivery & Platform Management: Oversee delivery of business-critical technology solutions supporting sales, service, distribution, enrollment, and operational functions. Ensure effective governance, execution, and value realization across projects, programs, and platform enhancements. Drive platform optimization, configuration, continuous improvement, and vendor performance management. Balance business-as-usual operations, strategic initiatives, and capital project delivery within available resources and funding. Business & Technology Partnership: Serve as the primary business leader partnering with IT and enterprise technology teams. Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions and capability roadmaps. Manage dependencies, risks, release priorities, and implementation planning across complex initiatives. Influence senior leaders to align investments, resources, and delivery priorities with organizational objectives. Operational Excellence & Transformation: Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve data governance, streamline operations, and reduce costs. Improve platform reliability, user adoption, broker experience, and customer outcomes through technology innovation. Establish delivery models and governance structures that support sustainable growth and operational effectiveness. Monitor and communicate performance metrics, roadmap progress, and business outcomes to executive stakeholders. Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, including direct reports, matrix partners, and external vendors. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Build organizational capabilities and succession plans to support future business needs and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, business transformation, operations, or solution delivery. Proven success leading cross-functional teams within complex, matrixed organizations. 7+ years of experience driving technology, digital, telephony, Salesforce CRM, platform configuration, roadmap development, or business solution delivery initiatives. Experience developing technology roadmaps, prioritizing investments, and aligning business and IT strategies. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, product ownership, change management, and project delivery frameworks. Experience managing third-party vendors, strategic partnerships, and governance models.
