This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and driving defect prevention. Job Responsibilities:** * Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and documentation for new and existing products and processes. * Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues, both internal and external. * Participate in design reviews, process validations, and product launches to ensure quality considerations are integrated early in the development cycle. * Perform statistical analysis of data to identify trends, measure process capability, and recommend improvements. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related problems. * Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Jabil's quality management system, customer specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 as applicable). * Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, preparing reports and presenting findings to management. * Train and mentor junior quality personnel and production staff on quality principles and procedures. * Support supplier quality initiatives, including supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance monitoring. * Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 8D problem-solving. Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. * 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics manufacturing services (EMS). * Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949). * Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other quality tools. * Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams). * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience with Minitab or similar statistical software is highly desirable. * ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) are a plus.     BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
