Group/Division With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Technical Leadership & Execution Lead field support and customer escalation activities. Develop deep expertise in software architecture, system behavior, and tool operation. Guide the team in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions. Drive technical decision-making and ensure alignment with product and business objectives.

Management Lead by example through hands-on contributions while coaching and mentoring team members to strengthen technical capabilities and execution excellence. Prioritize work effectively, manage escalations and schedules, and drive successful on-time delivery of commitments. Foster a culture of continuous improvement across engineering processes, development tools, and software workflows. Build a high-performing team through talent development, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and developing high‑performing teams BS, MS, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field. Proven expertise in C++, object‑oriented design, and software architecture/design patterns. Strong background in data analysis, including statistical techniques and predictive modeling. Proficiency in Linux-based development and software debugging within complex systems. Experience building or deploying AI/ML models, especially with large datasets is a plus Prior work in semiconductor equipment industry is also a plus Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a focus on collaboration, communication, and developing high‑performing teams BS, MS, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
