As the Chief Engineer , you will lead our engineering team and oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, operations, and capital projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the property, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while delivering exceptional service to both guests and team members. This role works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to support seamless hotel operations and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep for our hotel, oversee all maintenance projects and ensure preventative maintenance is completed timely and accurately. The Chief Engineer directs all other maintenance staff and assigns responsibilities when needed. This position works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure a smooth operation. Requirements: 3 to 4 years of Engineering Management experience, preferably within a luxury hotel brand. Bilingual communication skills are a plus. Must possess any required government licenses, certifications, or permits. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or Technical School education preferred. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to repair and maintain building systems, machinery, and grounds equipment. Ability to train and mentor team members on maintenance procedures and equipment repairs. Proficiency in operating mechanical equipment and maintenance tools. Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking fluently.
