Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. Website: https://palmpointbehavioral.com Palm Point Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Full-Time Receptionist (3 Shifts per week. Weekends required). The receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and patients, answering the switchboard, managing incoming and outgoing mail, documenting incoming deliveries, and providing clerical support as assigned. The receptionist will also assist in the facilitation of safety and security initiatives including announcing codes, assuring visitor sign-in/out, reviewing and documenting patient belongings, and identifying escalation issues in teh reception area. Job Duties/Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate person/department Greet and direct visitors Process visitors as per hosptial policy and procedure, checking for contraband, utilizing metal detector and prescribed search methods. Announce codes and complete emergency procedures. Assist with clerical duties as needed Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Qualifications
Requirements: High School Diploma Two years in a behavioral healthcare setting as a receptionist is preferred.
