Raytheon is seeking a motivated individual to lead a portfolio of Direct Commercial Sales spare parts contracts supporting the Japan Patriot program as the Japan Patriot Spares Program Manager. This role requires strong program leadership, customer engagement, and execution oversight across multiple spares procurements with varying scope, technical complexity, and delivery requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are met, coordinating cross-functional support, managing risk and opportunity, and supporting proposals, negotiations, and program start‑up activities. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and international customers. You will work directly with the Program Office, Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), and other key stakeholders to support timely delivery of customer commitments and urgent requests.
What You Will Do
Lead overall program execution for Japan Patriot DCS spares contracts, ensuring fulfillment of cost, schedule, and performance commitments Serve as the primary interface with the Japan customer, managing communications, expectations, and relationship health for assigned programs Conduct and maintain program-level risk and opportunity management, driving mitigation and capture strategies Develop, review, and maintain Estimates at Complete (EACs) in accordance with Raytheon financial and program management processes Support spares proposal planning, development, pricing reviews, fact-finding, and negotiations Drive program start-up activities, including requirements confirmation, baseline establishment, and cross-functional team engagement Coordinate closely with supply chain, engineering, operations, finance, and export/import compliance to ensure aligned execution Prepare and deliver internal and external program reviews, status briefings, and performance metrics Contribute to continuous improvement of spares execution processes and customer satisfaction Expected to support domestic and/or international travel as needed Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Leadership experience within a defense or aerospace business Risk and opportunity management, financial controls, and cross-functional leadership experience Experience with proposal activities. Program Management Certification, or equivalent Qualifications We Prefer Experience
