About this role
We Are Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow. You Are You spent two or three years in investment banking or consulting and learned how to build a model, structure a deal, and work under pressure. Now you want to apply that rigor to something with more continuity, where you see the business case through to execution and integration, not just the pitch deck. You care about deal making, not just deal modeling. The idea of sourcing a target, running diligence, negotiating terms, and then watching the integration unfold excites you more than another financial restructuring project. You are comfortable walking into a room with a VP of Engineering and a CFO, understanding what gaps exist in a product portfolio, and translating that into a target list by Friday. You do not need perfect data to start building a business case. You ask the right questions, pressure test assumptions, and move quickly without cutting corners. You lead by influence because you have to. You are not managing anyone, but you are coordinating across finance, legal, strategy, and business units to keep a deal on track. At Synopsys, you will be exposed to the most senior leaders in the company and the deals that shape where we go next.
