Senior Piping Designer Play an integral role in Worley’s Mechanical and Piping team, supporting the delivery of complex power generation, industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects across North America. As industries continue to modernize and invest in operational reliability, efficiency, and sustainability, you will contribute to the development of high-quality piping and facility designs that support safe, constructable, and cost-effective project execution. Based in Denver, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams on projects ranging from brownfield facility upgrades to large-scale capital developments. Through technical expertise, innovation, and collaboration, you will help customers solve complex design challenges while supporting operational excellence and long-term asset performance. Purpose of the role As a Senior Piping Designer , you will provide advanced piping design expertise across all phases of project execution, from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction support, and commissioning. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing piping models, layouts, and design deliverables while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, project specifications, industry standards, and Worley quality processes. You will serve as a technical resource within the piping design team, supporting multidisciplinary coordination, mentoring junior designers, and helping drive efficient project execution. Working closely with engineering, drafting, project management, and customer stakeholders, you will develop practical and constructable solutions that support project objectives while maintaining technical excellence, safety, quality, and schedule commitments. Location: Denver, Colorado This position is based in our Denver office and supports a hybrid work environment that combines office collaboration, customer engagement, and project delivery activities. The Denver team supports power generation, industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects throughout North America and serves as a key engineering and design center for complex facility projects. You will be responsible for: · Delivering piping design services that meet Worley, customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements while maintaining schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives. · Developing detailed piping models, piping layouts, equipment arrangements, pipe supports, and associated design deliverables utilizing AVEVA E3D and related design tools. · Determining line counts, isometric quantities, and piping design requirements based on P&IDs, engineering data, and project specifications. · Reviewing and interpreting customer standards, project procedures, design criteria, and technical specifications to support project execution. · Identifying design information requirements and proactively managing design inputs to maintain project schedules and deliverable commitments. · Providing technical guidance, design direction, and work assignments to work-share teams, CAD technicians, and less experienced designers. · Leading model reviews, interference checks, clash detection activities, and design coordination sessions using AVEVA E3D and Navisworks. · Reviewing and approving design deliverables prior to issuance while ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards. · Coordinating piping design activities with process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and project management teams. · Developing general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and constructability-focused facility designs. · Performing field investigations, site walkdowns, tie-in verification, and existing facility assessments to support brownfield and revamp projects. · Integrating field data, laser scan information, and existing facility conditions into 3D models and design deliverables. · Supporting constructability evaluations and
