Job Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to aid financial advisors in navigating and applying the most relevant products & services offerings to specific client situations. Consulting Associates must demonstrate a high level of product knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. Specific platforms and products covered are LPL's suite of advisory solutions (SAM/SWM, MWP, OMP, GWP, PWP, and Manager Select), as well as individual products such as Mutual Funds, SMA's, ETFs, and Alternative Investments.
Responsibilities
Educate and guide Advisors on LPL’s Advisory Platforms and investment options Consult on specific client scenarios, providing suitable solutions Collaborate with key stakeholders and where appropriate, educate, mentor, and share knowledge within the organization and the Advisory Desk team A commitment and passion around helping our advisors grow their practices A variety of basic investment product knowledge and a hunger to become a deep subject matter expert An understanding of the financial services industry and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-driven environment What Are We Looking For? Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related areas FINRA SIE, Series 7, and 66 or ability to get licensed within the first 6 months Must be in office 2 days a week Core Competencies: A Drive for Professional Growth and Development Demonstrated ability to use independent judgement to make decisions and solve problems Communication skills Motivated team-player Preferences: Experience in the financial services industry #LI-PA Pay Range: $23.47-$39.12/hour Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
