A Day in the Life The Neurovascular business develops technologies used in the treatment of stroke and other vascular conditions affecting the brain. As part of the Manufacturing team, the Assembler I role supports the production of medical devices that are used in patient care around the world. This position is based in West Valley City, Utah and is an onsite role working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No travel is required.                     Assembler I team members perform precision assembly of medical devices in a cleanroom environment using microscopes and specialized tools. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to manufacturing procedures and quality standards to support the production of safe and effective products.

Primary Responsibilities

Assemble, package, and label medical devices in accordance with manufacturing process instructions, quality requirements, and company procedures. Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet manufacturing goals and customer demand. Read and interpret lot history records, work instructions, and basic mechanical drawings. Document manufacturing activities and maintain accurate production records. Operate within applicable quality system requirements, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and international standards. Identify manufacturing issues or discrepancies and communicate them to supervisors or appropriate support teams. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to support problem-solving and process improvement activities. Contribute to a team-oriented work environment by supporting coworkers and promoting effective communication.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Basic math skills and ability to follow written work instructions. Ability to read and interpret simple mechanical drawings and production documentation. Ability to perform precision assembly work requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, microscope use, and light lifting.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous medical device manufacturing experience. Prior assembly experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Experience working in a cleanroom environment. Experience following detailed manufacturing procedures and documenting production activities. Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
