Pay Information $37.96/hourly
Job Purpose Maintain all tooling to produce a quality part (process/changes, non-conformances, equipment acceptance, down time issues, tool life, etc.) by identification, execution and communication to ensure harmonious flow within the area of responsibility.
Key Accountabilities
• Conduct assigned checks & apply appropriate action according to plant/dept. policies and procedures to ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale.
• Control and maintain all tooling per process requirements utilizing the process quality control tables, operation standards, tool preset procedures and other specialized setup by tooling department (Manufacturing Technical Services).
• Monitor conditions within the area and react accordingly to prevent negative production impact.
• Monitor and communicate prior day/shift results through reviewing shift communication (daily report, visual management board, pre-shift communication, email, etc.) and providing continuous communication in order to apply PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action).
• Demonstrate basic understanding of process area tools, materials and equipment to appropriately react and prevent outflow/ negative impact to the department.
