Agency: Octagon Job Function: Consulting Job Subfunction: Sponsorship and Talent Consulting Job Description: THE JOB / Account Manager (Music & Lifestyle) (Payment Services Client) CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client programs. THE WORK YOU’LL DO Drive Creative & Strategic Vision: Generate innovative ideas, strategies, and POVs for client accounts, leveraging emerging trends across the music and entertainment landscape Lead Partnership & Activation Execution: Manage all aspects of partnerships and experiential activations, from concept development and contract negotiation to on-site execution and post-event analysis Deliver Compelling Client Communication: Effectively articulate ideas and strategies to clients through persuasive presentations Manage Projects & Resources Efficiently: Balance multiple projects, assets, and contracts while ensuring quality control across all deliverables Cultivate Key Relationships: Develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, talent teams and properties Understand & Support Client Objectives: Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives to align strategies with their overall goals Mentor & Collaborate for Team Success: Provide guidance and support to junior team members while actively collaborating with the broader team to foster a positive and productive environment THE BIGGER TEAM YOU’LL JOIN Recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Sports” , Octagon is the global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Omnicom Group. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 4-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing or a related field; agency experience is preferred Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently Proven experience in experiential activation, creative ideation, client service and project management for brands of all sizes Ability to effectively manage the needs of multiple clients simultaneously Established connections and experience within the music and/or entertainment industries Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven expertise in crafting and delivering compelling presentations that drive results Demonstrated strong judgement and professionalism when interacting with team members, clients and vendors Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically & internationally and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel: Moderate (20-45%) The base range for this position is $60,000 – 65,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
