Job Description

Job Purpose     The New York Stock Exchange (an Intercontinental Exchange company) is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst for the EMEA and APAC region.  This role will be based in London and will report to the Head of International Capital Markets based in London.  This is a high-visibility position where the Analyst supports the NYSE's International Capital Markets team to obtain new listings for the exchange. The Analyst conducts data analysis, prepares presentation materials, oversees the new listing process from pipeline to pitch to deal execution, manages databases, and works cross-functionally within the organization and with external stakeholders. The Analyst liaises with C-level executives, investor relations professionals, underwriters, outside counsel, members of the trading community, sales, events, marketing and regulation.

Responsibilities

Support team management in obtaining new business and strengthening existing business  Engage with business partners and contribute to projects that drive significant value  Liaise with C-level executives, and the banking, legal, investor, trading, and other relevant communities  Customize presentations for IPO prospects, client meetings, and other transactions, including capital market updates, industry comparisons, deal tables, peer trading comparisons, and visibility proposals  Conduct data analysis and participate in initiatives to improve data accuracy for the team  Prepare presentation materials, briefing papers, and other analysis/documents as required  Create and maintain databases on market/prospect landscape, deal pipelines, and other relevant information, including staying close to market news, alerts and updates  Coordinate client visits to the New York Stock Exchange, including marketing and media engagement (e.g. interviews, billboards)  Coordinate team visits to regional hubs for marketing/prospecting and conference purposes  Support the management, planning, coordination, and execution of seminars, conferences, events, and other origination activity in the region  Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as required    Knowledge and Experience   Bachelor’s degree required  Minimum 1 years’ experience in a corporate environment; finance or capital markets experience is a plus   Experience of working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Canva experience is a plus  Demonstrate ability to understand and integrate unique cultures and languages across EMEA and APAC region; 2nd language a plus  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment  Highly motivated, self-starter with ability and drive to operate both independently and as part of the broader team  Interest in analyzing data and developing business plans and sales pipeline; interest in public equity markets a plus   Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills  Well-demonstrated analytical ability and experience in interfacing with senior management  Willingness to take on executive administrative roles and tasks as required
