Job Summary
As the Vice President of Global Supply Chain, you will inspire and lead Millennium’s supply chain organization to ensure the delivery of high-quality components on time and within budget. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will serve as an advocate for your team, ensuring they possess the resources and strategic guidance necessary to exceed customer expectations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop the systems, processes, and supplier partnerships necessary to scale manufacturing while balancing cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. Your role includes direct oversight of general procurement, subcontracts, supplier management, material and demand planning, and the end-to-end logistics of shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position will sit onsite at our office in El Segundo, CA. This position's internal job code is Procurement Multi-fam Spec. Our team is currently hiring for a Level M.
Position
Responsibilities: Align supply chain vision and execution with corporate strategy and long-term growth objectives. Lead the transformation and scaling of the supply base to meet "Ramp to Rate" manufacturing goals. Advocate for the team to secure the tools, personnel, and budget required for operational excellence. Establish long-term agreements to ensure price stability and supply continuity. Mitigate risk by identifying and resolving supply chain single-point failures. Drive supply chain input for proposals, providing accurate cost estimates and verifying supplier capabilities. Oversee procurement, demand planning, and inventory to eliminate production bottlenecks. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain health and drive improvements. Optimize shipping and receiving for lean and efficient material movement. Foster a culture of excellence and agility through mentorship and active performance management. Build and mentor a high-performing team, drive supplier partnerships, and design scalable processes that deliver cost, quality, and delivery performance. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to integrate supply chain solutions into product design, program schedules, and production ramps.
Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or related field OR equivalent experience 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain/procurement in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing 5+ years of experience in leadership roles building and scaling teams This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
