What you'll do
Docusign is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our income tax team. In this role, you will support our US federal and state provision and compliance processes. As part of the global consolidated income tax reporting function, you will also have the opportunity to learn and support international tax workflows. We are looking for a proactive team player who is eager to learn, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Tax Provision & Reporting Director.
Responsibility
Assist in preparation of quarterly provisions and tax returns, including US federal book-to-tax adjustments, state tax adjustments and attribute carryforward schedules Prepare US federal and state return-to-provision (RTP) calculations Develop, prepare and maintain audit-ready workpapers and documentation of tax positions Process income tax payments, prepare and post required income tax journal entries and maintain monthly income tax account roll-forwards and account reconciliations Support special projects as needed, including M&A activities, process improvements, audit support, and tax technology implementations Assist in business tax filings and other tax submissions as needed Manage accruals and payments related to business taxes and tax consulting Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. What you bring Basic Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of corporate tax or accounting experience Experience with federal tax regulations and general state/local tax concepts Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel skills Preferred CPA or Master's in Tax or Accounting Experience in a compliance or provision focused tax role in a multinational company Public accounting experience with Big 4 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $105,800.00 - $163,450.00 base salary Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $101,400.00 - $139,425.00 base salary Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $101,400.00 - $145,475.00 base salary Washington DC: $105,800.00 - $145,475.00 base salary Ohio: $90,200.00 - $124,025.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
