Amazon Japan はビジネスの成長をサポートする新しいフルフィルメントセンター,インバウンドクロスドック,アウトバウンドソートセンターなどFirst Mile/Middle Mileの新規サイト立ち上げおよび数十の既存サイトにおける改造プロジェクトにおいて、設置されるマテハン機器や自動化設備の安定稼働に向けて設備の安全性や品質、信頼性、生産性の改善を技術的にリードする Senior Engineer を探しています。本ポジションは、アマゾンのグローバルチームや国内外のサプライヤーと協力し共に成長しながら技術的なリーダーシップを発揮し、安全性やコストバランスを維持しつつ設備およびプロセスの能力と品質を最大化させます。また、オートメーションを含む最新鋭の搬送設備の導入に伴い新たに発生する技術課題に対しても状況に応じて最適なソリューションを提案し、関係するステークホルダーとの合意形成をとりながらタイムリーに解決へ導くことで新規ソートセンターの立ち上げを成功させ、日本のお客様へお届けする商品のリードタイム短縮と輸送コスト削減に貢献します。そして幅広い技術力や経験知を指導することでチーム全体の技術力を底上げし、さらに設備仕様や業務プロセスの標準化へつなげていくことで技術のスケールアップにも貢献します。下記が主な業務となります。 - 日本のオペレーションが計画する中期および年次計画に基づいてフルフィルメントセンターおよびソートセンターの立ち上げを実現すること。 - 設備の技術問題に対して重大性や影響度を迅速かつ正確に捉え、状況に応じて安全、日程、品質、コストの全体最適となるソリューションを提案し解決させること。 - 既存のコミュニケーションチャネルとワークプロセスの更なる改善を行い、社内外のステークホルダーとの信頼関係を構築しながらコンフリクトを解消し合意形成に結び付けるようマネージすること。 - グローバルのエンジニアリングチームと連携し、最先端の設備や業務プロセスを日本に導入して、入出荷能力の向上や業務効率化を図ること。また、日本のベストプラクティスはグローバルへ提案し標準化すること。 - 国内外の協力会社と連携するだけでなく、継続的にそれら協力会社の能力を高め、安全性・品質の向上と低コスト化を推進すること。 - 安全基準とエンジニアリング指針に則り、標準作業作りなどを通してメカニズムを構築し安全な職場を実現すること。 Amazon Japan is seeking an Senior Engineer to manage the construction of the material handling equipment and automation equipment, verify the operational capability, and start up the new fulfillment center/IB cross-dock/OB sort center that handles First mile/Middle mile delivery. This position will demonstrate technical leadership while working and growing with Amazon's global team and domestic and international suppliers to maximize facility and process capability and quality while maintaining safety and cost balance.
