Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking an Immunology Lab Research Assistant Intern to join our Immunology and Flow Cytometry Team located in Burlington, NC. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week Job Responsibilities: Perform technical and non-technical protocols in the capacity according to established procedures Gain knowledge of department specific procedures and operations and work in cross functional teams Generate reliable and consistent results, including analyses and critiques, and maintain an accurate and comprehensible experimental notebook Attend training sessions to learn process development Present accomplishments to scientists from various disciplines and to senior management at the end of program Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biological Science Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a clinical lab, or relevant lab experience 6-12 months experience using literature/search engines/databases to pursue science research Additional Job Standards: Completion of coursework in introductory Immunology Ability to collaborate with colleagues Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation!
