Computer Operators at Kyndryl are key in helping revolutionize the way we operate complex computer systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, supervise and control intricate networks and applications, and operate distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.   As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline – performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to our customers. As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline – performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. Lead and oversee daily operations for Mainframe batch/console operations, Mainframe Technical Support, and iSeries operations. Provide technical guidance and operational direction to the operations team across MF, Tech, iSeries, and MRO environments. Manage daily, weekly, and shift-based work schedules and ensure adequate operational coverage. Coordinate staffing and operational responsibilities for batch streams and LPAR coverage. Provide operational leadership during Sev1 and Sev2 incidents as the primary operations focal point. Drive SWAT calls and lead operational issue resolution activities through completion. Conduct daily operations status meetings and morning turnover calls. Attend and actively participate in all operational and change management calls.
