BetaDev is a specialist group within Go-to-Market (GTM) Product Strategy and Operations. We partner with Global Product Leads (GPS), Product Managers, and gTech to test the newest alpha and beta products with Google’s largest advertisers (LCS). Our mission is to evaluate product-market fit, ease of adoption and performance to ensure Google Ads products are market-ready, intuitive, and built to scale globally. As the Beta Development Manager, you will lead a team to help shape the future of Google Ads solutions for distinguished Product Areas to meet the needs of Large Customer Sales (LCS) customers. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Manage a team of product and GTM Insights strategists to design, execute and lead product incubation to uncover valuable data and insights or evaluate product readiness and fit for Google advertisers. Identify and highlight clear actionable insights and recommendations to product roadmap and go-to-market strategy to improve Google Ads solutions. Coach team members to turn data and insights into clear and compelling executive updates and presentations for stakeholders across product, GTM and sales leadership. Influence and achieve alignment among a varied set of stakeholders with potentially engaging objectives. Serve as core member of leadership team, informing initiatives beyond team's core research projects.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree. 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders. Experience leading teams, projects, or mentoring others. Preferred qualifications: MBA. Domain expertise in Google Ads. Strong goal setting, leadership and execution of high visibility organization-wide initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in crafting effective narratives and compelling presentations. Comfort with managing ambiguity and taking a hypothesis-driven approach toward complex, cross-functional problems.
