Inbound Logistics Operative

Responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient receipt of all incoming goods and materials into the business. Ensure deliveries are checked against purchase orders and delivery documentation, accurately processed within SAP, and directed to the appropriate inspection, storage or production area. The role is responsible for identifying and reporting discrepancies, shortages, damage or documentation issues at the point of receipt, maintaining accurate and traceable records, and working closely with Purchasing, Quality, Planning and Warehouse teams to ensure materials are received and made available to the business in a timely manner. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping and 5S within the Goods Receiving area while supporting the continuous improvement of Goods In processes.
