We are seeking a Design Student , for our Solar District that is available for 4-16 months starting January 2027 . As a Design Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by: Responsibilities
Reviews RFP documentation for key design requirements Designs, reviews and/or validates solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents using/creating plans, specifications, and other information Calculates energy losses for designs Prepares/draws detailed site layouts using electrical single line diagrams using AutoCAD Supports estimating with quantity takeoffs and preconstruction efforts (e.g. design coordination, constructability review, project planning) Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders Assist with developing energy production models to support project feasibility and performance analysis Support earthwork quantity estimation and assist project teams with material take‑offs, quantity optimization, and pricing compilation and recap Facilitate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders by supporting RFIs and submittals through PM4+ Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a design function Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Superior attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Application of various computer software programs will be required, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)

The estimated salary range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
