Manager – Finance Transformation   Profile summary The Finance Business Consulting team is looking for a Manager with a strong delivery track record in Finance Transformation, who can bring business and technology-based solutions together to deliver outcomes for our clients.   This is a hands-on delivery role. You will run workstreams, produce and quality-assure the work, and lead a small team day to day. You will work closely with our Senior Managers and Partners, and take increasing ownership of client relationships as you establish yourself.   Prior consulting experience is essential, alongside experience of delivering Finance Transformation programmes in Financial Services, ideally with a Big 4 or top-tier firm. We work across Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance, and we welcome candidates with depth in any of these sectors.   The role calls for an adaptable individual who is comfortable across a wide range of client issues. The nature of our work varies considerably, so you should be at ease taking on different delivery roles and the challenges that come with them.     Your responsibilities As a Manager in our Finance Business Consulting team, you will lead workstreams within target operating model design and implementation programmes across Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance. You will be responsible for the quality of what your team produces and for turning client requirements into a design that works.   Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading workstreams within large and complex end-to-end Finance Transformations, and managing the day-to-day delivery plan for that workstream Building a working understanding of the Financial Services target operating model, including finance processes across Banking and Insurance, controls frameworks, and the common pain points such as manual processing and reliance on end-user computing Running requirements gathering and assessing the current organisation structure, processes, controls and operating model Contributing to target operating model and organisation design under the direction of the engagement lead, and producing the underlying analysis and deliverables Supporting working day timetable design and the delivery of an accelerated close Running design workshops, drawing out the client's business requirements and translating them into a leading-practice process and business design Delivering business readiness and change management activity that takes the client through go-live and into business as usual Supporting the business workstream of ERP and EPM implementations, including business process design, testing support and cutover activity Using AI to accelerate delivery – for example in analysis, process documentation, deliverable drafting and quality checking – and applying sensible judgement about what needs human review Using AI as a thinking partner: exploring options, testing your own logic and pressure-testing deliverables before they go for review Managing and developing a small delivery team, reviewing their outputs and giving clear, constructive guidance Taking personal responsibility for the quality of what your workstream produces Supporting engagement financial management, including forecasting, resourcing and reporting against budget Supporting business development, including research on new and existing clients and contributing content to proposals and bids Building internal and client networks, and beginning to develop the relationships that lead to future work Contributing to the growth of the practice through EY points of view, solutions, engagement tools and enablers Coaching and supervising junior colleagues and
