This role supports the development of infrastructure for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources using SQL and cloud technologies. It primarily involves designing and implementing components to improve internal data processes and infrastructure scalability. The role differentiates by focusing on automation, optimization, and re-design of data delivery systems to enhance performance. Success is measured by the effectiveness of data pipelines, automation of manual tasks, and scalability improvements. The work enables better data accessibility and insights, impacting organizational decision-making and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities : Develop and maintain data pipeline architecture and analytical tools to meet business requirements and improve data processing efficiency Assemble and prepare data sets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business needs for analysis Build components of analytics tools that leverage data pipelines to generate actionable business insights Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure requirements Create data tool components to support analytics and data science teams in their workflows Work with data and analytics experts to enhance the functionality and performance of data systems Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience : Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or related field (Preferred) Less than 2 years Data Engineering (Preferred) Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement (Preferred) Experience in languages such as SQL, DAX, Python, Java, Scala, and/or Go (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Cloud Computing (Required) Collaboration (Required) Data Analysis (Required) Data Engineering (Required) Data Modeling (Required) Data Pipelines (Required) Databricks DBRX (Required) Microsoft Azure (Required) Root Cause Identification (Required) At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel : Travel Required (Yes/No): No DOT Regulated : DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): No Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): No   Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $71,280 - $128,590 National Base Pay Range: $64,800 - $116,900 The Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity represents the expected total cash compensation for this role at target performance, combining base salary and annual incentive opportunity.
