About this role

Overview

Medallia is the pioneer and market leader in Experience Management. Our award-winning SaaS platform, Medallia Experience Cloud, leads the market in the management of experiences, insights, and actions for candidates, customers, employees, patients, and residents alike.   We believe that every experience is a memory that can last a lifetime. Experiences shape the way people feel about a company. And they greatly influence how likely people are to advocate, contribute, and stay. At Medallia, we are committed to creating a world where organizations are loved by their customers and their employees. We empower exceptional people to create extraordinary experiences together.  Bring your whole self. The Role and Team Medallia is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the platform powering Medallia's omnichannel signal collection - the mission-critical layer that ingests, routes, and delivers feedback at Fortune 100 scale. This role owns the systems that serve as the engine for the world's most sophisticated customer experience programs, directly powering how the Fortune 100 listen to and engage with their customers at every touchpoint. The role will manage a portfolio of established systems, balancing the critical need to maintain high-scale current operations with the vision to build next-generation signal collection capabilities. You'll work closely with our Listen Experience Applications team to build the platform capabilities that will support the evolution of omnichannel listening. This is an exciting and strategic role focused on building innovative solutions that will enable our customers to gather feedback effectively, at the right times and through the right channels, unlocking valuable new insights and empowering real-time action to improve CX.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end collection pipeline, from the moment a signal arrives through processing, persistence, rules evaluation, and action, so that data lands correctly and completely at volume. Own outbound delivery as a platform capability: the broadcast layer that performs pre-send processing and distributes to consumers at scale, including the reliability, throughput, and deliverability characteristics that make it dependable. Own the strategy for the existing proprietary collection stack, deciding what to keep, what to modernize, and what to replace, and sequencing that work without interrupting a system the business runs on today. Set, instrument, and hold reliability and performance targets for infrastructure that other product teams build on, including SLAs, SLOs, throughput ceilings, and failure behavior. Partner with engineering on pipeline architecture, queueing and streaming design, and the operational tooling required to run collection at scale. Collaborate across teams, aligning integrations, ISV, social, survey, and platform product managers behind consistent collection behavior across the platform.   Candidates based in the Tysons vicinity will be prioritized as this role is Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.   6+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, focused on data infrastructure, integration platforms, or messaging and communications infrastructure.   Demonstrated ownership of production data movement infrastructure at scale, such as ETL or ELT pipelines, event streaming, message queues, or integration middleware.   Demonstrated ownership of high-volume outbound delivery infrastructure, such as email, SMS, push, or event distribution, including the operational realities of throughput, retries, and failure handling.   Strong systems thinking, with a track record of defining component boundaries, contracts, and standards that multiple engineering teams build against.   Demonstrated experience modernizing inherited or proprietary systems, not solely building greenfield,
